witchcraft becomes more and more useless in hybrid classes like Lamentor against tanks and I will explain you why.
The rotation starts with a fear which holds 5.1 sec, since you nerved the sleep it takes 4 seconds until the enemy sleeps 6 seconds and in between the enemy has enought time to push immunity and the distance to apply the sleep is way to low now. Basicly someone runs towards you, you fear him with ranged one, then you need to get closer before you can apply sleep, then the enemy is already in immunity because it stupidly works against those sleeps (and the sleep ball needs to fly a distance to enemy LOL !). So basicly the rotation for mages was crushed and for melee it got pushed, since as melee you fight anyways close combat. If you apply that problem to archers, which got defense, its even more unbalanced, since they are always out of this sleep range. At the end you can remove that skill, since its tottaly worthless now. Even if you try to do another rotation in case of bubble/meteor and other meteor rotations, it became more useless, even with sleep. Thanks to the to the new gems, a tank with 28k life can heal himself up fully with new gems + Rev. Cheer .. means meteor is useless. (if you half the cc's you need to half the heal ammounts too !) So basicly you cant do much against a tank, even if you apply sleep, meteor, both lightnings and gods whip ... at the end he will have nearly full health again. then you run out of mana and he just kills you. in my view thats more than unbalanced, since each class should have a way to win against other classes. doesnt matter if its defense or not.
even archers cant do shit against new tanks anymore ... its quite too op and you dont leave a balance for hybrid classes. additionaly there is the honor cloak and new other equipment parts which pull you up in the air, that makes it even more unbalanced.
I just want give a slight equipment relation:
Me: dreamring (-1000 defense on enemy), necla.(- 600) , other def penetrations etc (maybe another 400 or more)
Enemy: Plate tank with obs magic shield which grants 1.7k defense ... plus maybe legs or so which grant another 500 m def ... = 2200 mdef (and if he has good equip may a div or epic sword or whatever)
means in this calc: he has maybe 200 magic def but even with that he doesnt take dmg at all, either system is bugged or whatever ... plus massive heals on him ... at the end you run out of mana and thats it .. normaly leather has a chance against cloth mages, but wtf is wrong with this 28k health plate ppl, they dont even take dmg even with no defense .. thats so fcing weird ..
that means as sum: doesnt matter if you have good equipment or shitty dreamring, doesnt matter at all since the base is not balanced.
