I should have known.
Hiram was billed by Trion as the new gear that everyone could get. It was billed as the gear that would allow players to close the gear gap. These promises turned out to be equal to - ' Everyone can have their own Dragon', and all the other overblown generalities that never were true at all.
I committed to Hiram (on FS) from the get go. Farmed Hiram 4 - 6 hours a day during war in DS. Spent thousands in gold on loot drop potions. Got me a flying hamster (Corgi) from an event. Farmed day and night though the 2x event. Got a complete set of Celestial gear including bow 2 weapons and lute - All completely gemmed. My GS barely broke 5k. I had 534 extra Hiram pieces going forward into phase 4.
Got lucky early on a Hiram awakening and weapon went to T2. I had maxed the weap so it was at Heroic T2. Then came the synthesizing. To just barely get it to Divine took about 200 pieces and all the required labor - close to 10k in labor. Thats for ONE item. I have to duplicate this process with 10 more pieces. We're not talking months - this process is going to take Years. And even then I doubt I will reach the 6k gear scores that I see walking around FS NOW.
Why do I say Years? Went back to DS during war to pick up a few pieces during my down time. Spent a half hour - 93% total buff - before giving up. Got one, Thats ( 1 ), as in ONE drop in 30 minutes, when it takes literally 2 - 3 seconds for me to kill a mob.
