Archeage B2P model and Fresh Server

I profoundly believe this will be the worst decision made thus far from XL Games and agreed on by Gamigo to date, and I've been here since the beginning of AA.

I strongly Urge XL games to reconsider their decision with implementing another model and server as all this will do is divide and harm our recovering game launching it into oblivion.

Well over a year ago XL games realized that making fresh start servers was not a good choice and recognized the harm it does to the game and more so over to legacy servers.
Few months later they made what is called Fresh Start Progression server... which only served to do the exact same as dozens of previous fresh starts did, drain legacy population.
Players at first flocking it in hopes of a new start which only ended for most of them with a bitter disappointment taste ending with mass departure of players from the game entirely and forcing mergers to ensue.

Right now we have many players from the server Nui literally begging for months now to be able to move to legacy due to disappointments that came with that, and every previous Fresh Start Servers before that which followed with mass population exodus that trailed them just check the history, its all there with facts and dates.

Legacy servers have been on a route of recovery from the last sever lacerations caused over the years by miss management of previous company and very poor game design and implementation especially around the time that our beloved Jake Song decided to go and work on a different project only to return shortly after when realizing ArcheAge was on a failing decline. Ever since his return and the changes he oversaw and implemented the game has been populating once more and legacy servers thriving with new and old players alike. Until what's to come next.

This model will Not fix anything, will Not solve anything and it will further divide the game and cause AA to lose its player base once more.

B2P model will be easily plagued by gold sellers, and P2W more so than our current version.

What is to stop a player from purchasing 10 accounts and have infinite labor without having to pay a dime for it ever again? how about 20 accounts? too much? I personally knew a person that had 30 patron at once for months... to keep that up was very gold/$ draining so she had to stop due to the barriers of Apex prices / real life $. What is to stop someone from being on top making a one time purchase of an account or 2 or 10-20-30 and surpass everyone else by a year in a very short time?

A game without barriers, checks and balances will eventually be unplayable due to power creep.
If you really think you have a better opportunity to start fresh and be somebody think again, this will be way worse than any previous New Server.

Land? how about thinking about people that can keep land indefinitely? with patron not being a barrier land barons can keep mass amounts of lands forever on their alt accounts farming on em with infinite labor. forget about finding an open land ever on this model if you thought it was hard on legacy.

The amount of unlimited free labor being generated by all this one time alt accounts will dwarf what EU and NA alts combined pour into our economy now. I won't even touch the gold sellers discussion here that's another big topic that needs time to detail.

I could honestly go on and on but I'm afraid the captain is deaf, blind and mute. I will leave our fate with the howling winds of the Arcadian sea that has only yielded us mythic salts over the years.

P.S I wish everyone switching over at the end of fall the best of luck and hope you find your answers on AA unchained B2P version 2.0 launched on a separate server.

Just remember one thing friends, it's a one way ticket and once there, there will "Never" be a transfer available or a merge of auction houses to save the dwindling economy or dying population.
