Treasure Hunting

So is treasure hunting still worth anything. I heard they took out most of the stuff you can get and just added designs for ship components, which are not very valuable. I know there is a couple extremely valuable items you can find, just curious if that's all there is to look out for?

Does anybody know of any current list of items you can get from chests?
