Error #1004 & Error #1016 Combined Casual Solution

Hello,

I have tried for hours to find a reason to my #1016 error since I have downloaded the client from Steam and thought it had to be in fine condition to run.

#1016 error is also known as "There was an error downloading update information. Please try again later."

How did i fix it?

I just stopped getting DNS automatically and switched to 4.2.2.4 primary and 4.2.2.1 other (Public DNS Servers - Broomfield, CO, US).
Glyph was able to get version information once when i switched to these DNS servers.

Ofcourse it wasn't the end. After Glyph has finished the update, I had the #1004 error also known as "Downloaded files are corrupted." once it finished verifying state.

Solution that I found was to use VPN.

- Opened Glyph client, waited, didn't rush to update.
- Opened the VPN client i downloaded.
- Connected to U.S.
- Started updating.

Marvelously, I didn't have #1004 error after verifying state. Glyph applied the files and updated the Archage client perfectly.

I hope this helps to anyone who is stuck in this kind of ridiculous situation.
