Melee Basic Costume that gives Ranged and Magic PvE Damage.

Hello, within the new patch I bought a MELEE BASIC COSTUME with 200 prestiges. As far as I see, there are 4 types of costumes; Melee, Ranged, Magic and Healing. So I thought that there must be a reason trion did 4 different types of costumes and since I am a Darkrunner I chose Melee Basic Costume. But unluckily it gave me PvE Magic Damage and PvE Ranged Damage in Arcane Degree. So what is the point of my MELEE Basic Costume which gives everything except something related to Melee class stats? It's a bit funny but I can't laugh since I wasted tons of time and loyalty tokens.
