Later today, The once great Kyrios West guild Catalyst will lose their castle to Disaster and a few of our new allies, what could they have done to deserve this? Well for one, Elu was rude to me, he made the mistake of coming to the Aranzeb forums and talking about Disaster and myself in particular. Had it not been for his disrespect, we may have allowed their guild to survive and possibly be part of the bright new future we intend to usher in, instead, we will force yet another guild off of the faction and possibly the game.
Elu and his guild doesn't seem to be taking this news well, instead opting to destroy their castle entirely prior to the siege so they don't become embarrassed while actually trying to defend, Elu will concede before the siege even begins and all the while, his guild will cry injustice that their former allies such as Gank Bus aren't coming to their aid.
I admittedly don't know much about Kyrios, but what i do know is that Elu plays both sides of the fence, he routinely logs onto his eastern character and 'shotcalls' for them, we at disaster intend on putting a stop to this disgusting cross-teaming immediately.
In less than 6 hours, we've stood strong about pirates and completely embarrassed the dysfunctional eastern faction. We've stood up against easily half our numbers in DS, then went on to Win Mistmerrow, we Nui camped the Eastern Grimghast Rift and in our crowning achievement of the night, sent all the pirates to jail in the middle of their Red Dragon pull before downing the raid boss ourselves.
Pirates were raptured one after the other mid-pull while on Dragon, sent to timeout like a child, their raid becoming increasingly more disorganized and ineffective as their 'roll face across keyboard, get kills' zerg tactics began to fail them, perhaps Ntax had some time to think while he was staring at a wall in his cell for 50 minutes, perhaps he won't be so greedy the next time he shows his face in Nuian Territory.
Where was East in all of this? Well, during Mistmerrow they hid in the caves like batman or something, they got wiped one time at Grimghast and never left the Nui again. While West was killing the Red dragon, they had about 10 ShitterS and 10 Trash Team 6 running around being repeatedly killed by dudes like me, Warden was nowhere to be found, i might have killed a couple of them in Mistmerrow but otherwise they must have been attending knitting class or something. Whats worse is the rumor that SlayerS will be attacking Marcala tomorrow, which is being held by the lovechild guild of TT6 and Warden, This certainly doesn't bode well for the alliance which is going to need all the help it can get to match up against a burgeoning Pirate faction and a revitalized west.
It will be interesting to see if any of these guilds are capable of taking on Disaster with even numbers, it certainly doesn't look like the pirates want any part of that. Despite being comprised of Three or four guilds from servers which they had freefarm on, Pirates still insist on making every fight a faction v. faction event. While Disaster is actively killing off Catalyst and SlayerS is boldly attacking their own allies castles, NaCl, Crippling Debt, Squad, and all of those other decently geared guilds insist on hugging each others nuts while doing every scrap of content in this game.
'Squad' certainly thinks our solution to this problem would be for us to 'bring more guys', as if we can use warpgates to phase more of them into existence. Perhaps the better solution would be for you guys to stop trying to zerg everything down with a mega-geared ultra-faction. 'Squad' itself is comprised almost entirely of Eastern players from Tahyang, if they wanted to, they could go back east and join that faction and fight against Pirate and West rather than be part of the problem, but i suppose that would require effort, it would require them to be competent players who are capable of doing something other than following their betters into battle. 'Squad' or 'Outplayed' is a trash guild who is in all likelihood the worst guild to have transferred together to Kyrios, this despite one of their leaders having one of the top gearscores in the NA and maybe the game.
'Supremancy' from Kraken could have been a legitimate guild in their own right, but why bother with that when you can just team up with your friends from NACL and create the ultimate pirate zerg force.
None of these guys seem to want to fight each other, they would rather just shitstomp everyone and click their abilities as their grossly superior numbers consume everything they come upon, sounds like alot of fun, obviously 'winning' is more important to you than proving that you arent some mindless drone capable of only rudimentary combat.
