What weapon should I invest in for melee? Class undecided.

I'm going to have about 30k to play with. I could potentially push that to say.. 50k.

Looking at Darkrunner, Abolisher or Paladin.

I'm guessing Shortspear would be the best for all three, yeah?

If Darkrunner, how well does Dagger do in offhand?
