Rule of Acquisition #34 - War is good for business
I have had more fun today than i have had months. My lutesong junk went 1/28 at kraken today who knew fighting 10 guilds from 3 factions working together to kill me could be so fun. All the drama i am reading is about incursion and i know that guy is over bearing and often goes to far, but this did not start over incursion or his guild but they are trying to use anti incursion hate mongering to build this war.
I was told NWA was targeted because we worked mostly with synergy instead of EG. I admit we did and still do. EG did the same thing with SF before we worked with synergy seemed like the logical choice at the time and currently. reaper is very small and we could not communicate with cascade very well. And that being said i do not hate EG and I have always been respectful to them and as helpful as a could be. The current conflict was started over EG Healers healing people trying to kill NWA members. after the second time this happened we contacted EG's leader and were told it would never be repeated, and my guild was under orders (from me) if it did happen for a 3rd time kill the healer doing it. needless to say it happened and the healer was killed instantly as ordered. and this snowballed in to the drama that we have today.
I have been warned by EG officers that if we do not abandon Synergy we will be made out to be green pirates. I only hope the propaganda war EG is pushing our way is known to be exactly what it is a lie.
Until this is resolved it will hurt the gold income and boss drops of both sides until one side reaches a breaking point, when the Empire was 1st formed and the east owned red dragon EG (the largest guild in empire at the time) would field less members to contest a losing battle then even the smaller members of the Empire and i think most of the five or six members they had that did contest the most have quit transferred or joined NWA. and this predicts only one out come to me they will lose interest, gold, and members until they withdraw from this pissing contest of a war.
But this being said i do not dislike EG or 97.3% of there members. I feel the empire was alot stronger with EG on board. when they are ready to find a solution to he current war i will be here ready and willing to talk and even help get synergy on board with a solution we can all agree is fair and advantages to all three sides.
