Astra Wings Lose Altitude Fast

Right. Let's get to the bottom of this.

I purchased my Astra wings yesterday. They are awesome. The animations, the high jump when deployed, and the side-teleport.

However I couldn't help but notice one detail.

And that is, that when idly flying (without pressing any other button, just idle flight onwards) you lose altitude at the same rate as when flying with W.

This means the only worthwhile means of flight is with the W button. There is no option of slow / calm and long-distance soaring. You just sag downwards like a rock in a lake.

I find it sad that such gorgeous (and expensive) wings lose altitude so fast...

I can't help but equip my Imperial Jade Wings glider when I try to conquer long distances. :/ When I got the wings I was hoping for them to best my glider. But they didn't. At least not in the altitude-loss factor.


Is this an error? Miscalculation?

Or a meant-to-be feature?

If so, Why?

EDIT: Like seriously. My Jade Wings glider has a high gliding ability. The Astra wings have a high 'Cruising ability' and they drop a lot quicker. Come on. Is this what I paid for?
