I'd like to apologize in advance for using the skills & classes forum as my own personal diary/drawing board, but the class system is complicated enough that I need to write things out to help me remember and better understand it. Also I like to be able to go back to these posts for future reference. Anyway....
Here's how I look at it:

OP:
Sorc + Witch
Sorc + Aura
Sorc + Def
Any sorc combination that can reliably get off a meteor combo is good. That means you're good to go if you can: 1) Lassitude + meteor, 2) Leech + Meteor, 3) Shield bash + Bullrush + frigid tracks deepfreeze + meteor
So what's left?! Actually a lot.
Most notably is Sorc + Shadowplay. I almost put this in the OP category, but honestly I haven't played enough to be able to tell. I just assumed it was OP so I never played it. But then you have classes like animist. Sorc + Shadow + Vit. This might suck bad enough that you can't play it. I need to see if you can SM > Overwhelm > frigid tracks deepfreeze on cloth targets. I believe you will be able to after -0.4 cast time reduction gems. Which will put Sorc + Shadow into the OP category, but we'll see.
NEXT: The three classes which I personally believe that are on the brink of viability that don't have Def, Aura, Witch or Shadow are: Gypsy, Ravager, and Spellsword.
As for Ravager and Spellsword. Sorc + BR can Charge > terrifying Roar > Triplestrike > animation cancel frenzy > frigidtracks > deepfreeze. It is reliable on cloth, but so ridiculously complicated it prevents Sorc + BR from being OP
Gypsy. Gypsy may possibly enter the realm of viability with t4v2 staff. If startling strain instantly adds charm effect you may be able to kill a darkrunner by dropping a meteor on them during a startling strain fear. Currently, as a gypsy a DR will just shrug startling strain stun and kill you. Basically at the moment a gypsy can mirror a stalker's mark then alarmcalls the leech and/or overwhelm. Not much of an answer to a charge triple, but whatever, we haven't even gotten to that point yet...
Anyways these are just some thoughts mainly for myself to reference later, and a continuation of some thoughts on the most elaborate way to drop a meteor. Don't mind me... these are just the ramblings of a crazy person.
