How to Complicate Healers 101

I've been back for about a month and healers have changed a lot since my ollo and morph days.
Started off Caretaker, moved to edgewalker (off-meta but it worked really well with my group/gs), and now i'm kind of stumped on what i should play.

I see a lot of vit/def/witch vit/song/aura vit/aura/def and the occassional vit/shadow/x vit/occ/x. Cloth/shield.

These builds have a lot of problems. Vit/def/witch, cool you have a lot of block and peels for yourself but the entirety of your magic defense is based off cloth and if a DR gets good rng(or runs enough focus) you literally die instantly as your pdef isn't actually high, your block rate is just extremely high. All that cc feels like really good peels but aura/battle breaks all of it.

Vit/shadow/x i'm really unsure as to why people play shadow. stealth is nice but the points to get stealth aren't nice. you get 1-2 instant heals every 9 seconds, 3 if you are using your freerunner that you can only use for 30s then wait a full minute to use again. healers get a pretty decent amount of cast speed reduction without even trying. It just feels like a completely wasted tree compared to what you could be getting out of it. i know fights end fast so having like "big" cds to keep everyone up in the moment is nice, but i watch healers casting with basically no cast times anyway so its not really a valid argument.

Vit/occ/x is a raid build. Pretty much the main reason this is still at thing is for the medium amount of cc (you lost telekinisis with killed it for me), shadowstep is ok, and of course MEND SPAM. If you're sitting there casting mend you're going to oom or get blasted.

Now onto the builds with significantly less problems.

vit/aura/song This build is great because you can play it with plate or cloth. You buff your allies and if you use ancestral skills get a nice bulwark going on yourself while having damage reduction on enemies, insane mobility. It lacks hard cc with the idea that you're just going to have amazing positioning and just make sure you have buffs/debuffs up to survive the cc. So if you're running cloth its kinda mandatory to swap aura to def making this build a lot worse for the same reasons def/witch sucked. so you should play it with plate/aura and when mages try to dive you 1.) then they're in the middle of your team 2.) you have % reduction from the skills so its a lot less threatening then hoping block happens. this is risk vs reward best build for everyone if you can play it i think.

vit/aura/def this is what happens when you decide songcraft sucks. but for some reason literally everyone is trying to run it. this you should play with plate/shield rely on blocks but when they don't go through you still have plate. aura to negate magic/pen. this is basically just a tank that is really annoying because they can heal. a lot less risk but also a lot less reward, very safe.

i'm currently playing vit/song/aura with plate/shield. idk people keep suggesting all these other classes and i don't see what they see in them. am i wrong? what am i missing? I know healers are getting nerfed soon so def should be considered a lot more heavily due to negating damage to prevent having to heal it back but im talking about right now. the absolute best risk&reward for healer playing perfectly and why. thanks :o

Was trying to login, but after pressing connect.. it stays on the server select screen and connect is greyed out.

Since your server is in the cloud the server are more mestup then trion hade them down in 4 years.
Just put it back where it whas cause this aint working as you see. Mabey do some more tests on it befor you place in the cloude. but for now you ♥♥♥♥ing over more people then you able to keep.

Shadehunter Archery Guide

Greetings survivors of "The Great P2W Purge". If you're still here after the gruesome fall of AA's core playerbase, and enjoy playing archery, then I am here to bring you a fun class to try and master.

This new class is known as the *Shadehunter*.

The Shadehunter consists of the class combination: Archery-Shadowplay-Occultism

I will be showing you why I enjoy this class, and the unique combos given to it, so without further adieu, lets begin!

Bio:
The Shadehunter is a short-long distance combatant, who specializes in controlling the area around them, their team and their opponent, through multitudes of cc and debuffs. When mastered, you will be capable of locking down an opponent to near-death, or be able to disrupt and foil multiple enemy attacks numerous times in great succussion, even being able to single-handedly save your backline from unexpected assassinations and mini-flanks with the click of a button! (More on that later.)

Build:
The build can be adjusted to your liking, but this is what I typically run


Core Skills:Archery

Gale Charged Bolt- This is our bread and butter DPS-Combo maker. You'll want it's short 6-4 second CD to maximize your combo potential. If used after Concussive Arrow, you will extend the silence duration.

Steady Shooting- Not only is this a crit-dmg steroid, but it also allows you to use Blazing Arrow 3 times in a row, but the CD is increased to 16seconds (shared with its normal CD). If you cancel S.S. early, and 4-6 seconds have passed, your Blazing Arrow will still be off CD, despite the increased CD during S.S.! It is best to use this skill solely for the Blazing Arrow combo, and immediately cancelled in a 1v1/small scale scenario.

Blazing Arrow- This skill not only has an auto-crit mechanic, but it reduces all accuracy by 6% up to 24%, and can be used 3 times in succession, if under the effects of S.S. If the enemy is affected by crows (occult), they will be stunned for 2.4 seconds.

Endless Arrow- Filler skill, and now has a flame and stone variant, that you may choose to your liking. Stone trips after 50 stacks, while flame does high dmg, but the arrow-per-second cap is reduced to 1 or 2 (3 with high atk speed and low ping).

Concussive Arrow- Our big bang. Use it off CD, or to silence mages/magic skills.

Core Skills:Shadowplay

Backdrop Wave- Jump back 10m. Concussive Arrow becomes instant during Backdrop's buff duration.

Stealth- Nuff said. Also increased dmg by 10% per bloodthirst stack.

Freerunner Atk Speed and Movement Speed buff.

Stalker's Mark Increases Magic and Ranged Dmg by 16%, very nice for a hybrid archer mage.

Core Skills:Occultism

Cursed Seeds- Applies a debuff to the enemy, causing seeds to spawn on their current location, dealing dmg and impaling them, if hit. Combos with Charged Bolt to stun the enemy, if the Seed debuff is affecting them. I like this skill ALOT more than Life Absorb. Even though L.A. is guaranteed to apply cc (stun), you have to move out of skill-range to proc it, which often times wont be possible, and the healing from it is near worthless, since you arent an HP-type or tanky class.

Shadowstep- Our only Instant teleport, and it goes... to them... Lol Even with that being the case, it gives great outplay potential against BEL and Tigerstrike, and you can even go further in using its Mist version, to jump 2 more times, to really dazzle your opponents (not recommended... but doable). It is our best initiation method into using our combos as well.

Boneyard- This skill can be your bestfriend, and your worst enemy, due to its unreliable LOS frames, but it's still an excellent choice for disrupting channels.

Summon Crows- Crows deal dmg, and reduce physical accuracy by 30% for 5 seconds. Range increased if the enemy is stealthed and reveals them. If used on an impaled enemy, it reduces ALL accuracy (Magic can miss) by 70% instead. This is our baby right here. It is almost the sole purpose of playing the class, in having the power to counter the most used ability in the game (stealth), and apply a rare debuff ontop of it (accuracy reduction). If you want to LEEROOOY into a raid, you could take basic hellspear and crows into their backline (front would be easier, but also more dangerous) for a raid accuracy debuff, but most initiators do this anyway, so best not to die over a debuff already being applied.

Mist Hell Spear One of, if not our strongest of cc skills. U click the button, they stucc, you attacc, but most importantly, they cant attac bac! (Unless they use defense... then u just cry.)

Counters:
Shadehunter counters any class without cc breaks, and is a hard counter to any "Classic" mage, that relies on channeled skills.

Countered By:
Defense Tree- Shadehunter is Hard-countered by the Defense tree, in that it cannot impale such classes, and such classes are too tanky to kill before they kill you. If enemy is plate, and we are ever capable of gaining 100% magic accuracy, you could skill-swap into full magic dmg, with a strong scepter/staff, and attempt to lock them in a Boneyard full of aoe DOT, but even then, they could just Invince your efforts.

Songcraft- Not necessarily a counter, but they are capable of Soundwaving you into oblivion, preventing almost every attack you have to be useless until the debuff is removed (**SOUNDWAVE CAN'T BE DEFIANCED**), but you could try desperately to snare and get behind them (doesn't work for godswhip or channeled arc lightning...) or Basic Impale > Crows them for a similar effect of your own, that may even burn their CDs (70% ALL accuracy debuff).

High-Mobility- This is more of a challenge, than a counter. We sacrifice mobility for alot of cc, so when facing high-mobility targets, you'll really want to use these skills wisely.

I was told to get this hiram gear as soon as I hit level 50 or at least start working on it, I think I've got the full set but its probably the first tier. How do you get tier 3 hiram gear, I dont have a guild atm any guilds here maybe recruiing or just anyone that wants to be friends and that can help me ingame? Im on the server called "Kadum", if you dont mind leaving your name or guild or advice or anything haha thtad be great.

PTS Unlimited

Wouldn't it make a lot more sense if the PTS were to have unlimited labor and be able to re-use the fluffy commands on one character without limits? Majority of test servers for games have unlimited resources available from vendors, and so on. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind taking some time to get whatever mats I need for whatever reason. I have patron, and land, and I plant and potato just like everyone else (have been off and on for a long time), but these are still huge factors that I believe the PTS should possibly have. I don't really care about getting items from vendors, I just used that as an example for what most test servers have available to players. My main concern is labor, as is most of the PTS population, I assume. If nothing else, unlimited labor should be the #1 thing to be had on the PTS. It'd be especially helpful to have that in cases where there are large bugs that effect us players heavily like with the broken character creation currently. Just my thoughts.

I have been playing a class that is based around Damage-over-time and high debuffing, and my main source of all this is through Songcraft. I absolutely LOVE this spec as I hate in-your-face damage, and always play damage-over-time and rot specs in other games. Purge, in it's current form, makes over HALF of songcraft's offensive capabilities totally useless. 21-30 second cooldown, and make the user immune to perform skills for 10 seconds. 10. That's far too long considering it's very short cooldown that can be easily managed with CC. I really hope that in the future they will knock that down to 5 seconds, but who knows.

It's not a big deal to pretty much 90% of the players out there, but I've noticed it a couple of times, and it's really irritating. Imagine not being able to use half of your battlerage, sorcery, vitalism, or archery skills because of a buff that lasts 10 seconds on a 21-30 second CD. It's a little too much. And unlike invulnerability where the caster can do nothing the whole channel, the user of Purge is free to do whatever they like.

Note: DO NOT COMMENT if you're going to tell me to play a different class, because I will not. It's what I enjoy, and if I'm forced into "Meta" again like I was in 3.0 I will instantly quit the game. I refuse to play something I don't enjoy when my class currently does work.

Im returning player and i saw that the effect to Recover Mana from Montrous Desire did not work anymore is it normal?

i farmed months to get it and now its not useable anymore why?

Hallo zusammen.
Bei der Quest Auf Wache, soll ich mit dem Anwerber reden.
Ich stehe vor dem Tor in Diamantenküste aber da steht kein Anwerber.
Laut Forum sind die Zeiten 12,17 und 22 Uhr.
Gestern stand ich 17 und 22 Uhr und heute um 17 Uhr vor dem Tor, aber kein Anwerber zu sehen !?
In Marianopel stand ich auch schon, dort hab ich nur den Anwerber für Abgrundangriff gesehen, also blind bin ich nicht :)
Kann mir wer helfen ?
