I can't comprehend why this method is used, or why this glaringly obvious issue has not been resolved already, but there is an urgent glyph launcher issue that needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
Those of us with a touchy internet connection will know that installing games takes a while...on most platforms. On glyph it is almost impossible. While downloading a game on the glyph launcher, if your connection is interrupted at all, you are given a pop up window that stops the download. You have to manually hit okay, hit update AGAIN to restart the download. No one, especially those with touchy connections are sitting around for 10+ hours hitting OK every 15 minutes.
Every other game launcher I have ever worked with will simply stop the download and resume automatically when the connection comes back, so when you come home from work your download is done regardless. Blizzard does this, steam does this, uplay does this, I think EA ( in between loot boxes) even does this.
Someone with a great connection may overlook this issue, but it is one that has prevented me from downloading the ptr for a whole week, and is now preventing me from downloading unchained. I go to bed with 5 hours left on the download, come back to find it only went up half a gig and an error message has greeted my screen. Please fix this issue, its 2019, we don't need an error message every time our connection times out momentarily, we need our download to finish.
Please do not try and troubleshoot my connection with me, just fix the launcher, its important, and probably preventing a few people from trying your game.
