I think this is a design level bug. I tested it across 10 characters doing a total of > 110 rerolls and failed to hit the stat I need. That would be statistically impossible if the system wasn't using a heavily weighted average toward useless stats (and I have definitely proven that it does exactly that considering I keep getting the same useless mods over and over again).

The problem appears to be that the system changes your chances of getting a mod based on where your costume is in its progression. When you hit a threshold in progression stats from previous thresholds are nearly impossible to get. I made the mistake of going past unique before I got received healing. I didn't know that the system makes it almost impossible to get that mod after unique but it clearly does. I just started a new costume today and I got received healing in about 20 minutes. So now I have to flush a lot more money down the toilot to get that costume up to where the broken one is.

It appears that you have about a 10% chance to get a mod from the earliest tier of mods once you get a costume to the last tier of mods. This design flaw makes it basically impossible to change your costume. Considering the costume system is advertised as being "customizeable", this design clearly flies in the face of that claim.

In order for something to be customizable, it must allow a person to select something. It doesn't do that. It allows a person to unselect something and then continually gives them that same something over and over again after they chose to throw it back (I got archery bonus 3x on my healer costume with 10 rerolls yesterday. Got duplicates of 2 other useless mods... that is really stupid.)

I posted this in a thread on general discussion. The GM responded to my bug report saying I should make a report here. If you need more information, feel free to ask. I really want this fixed because it is a game killer. I know several people who quit the game over this bug. I almost did. It's really hard to flush 110k down the toilot, have nothing to show for it and be told by the GM's that the system is working as intended (umm... what?). So I guess I don't get any compensation for getting screwed by the system not working the way it says it does because it is intended to not work the way it says it works.

Another serious design flaw in costumes. You can evenstone a costume but that is not how you get the synthium out of it. I evenstoned a divine costume thinking I would get the synthium back. I got 3 archeum motes (worthless). So I got screwed there too (thousands more gold... flush). It should not be possible to evenstone a costume if the result is going to be total trash. I feel like every time I work on my costume I am getting screwed and there is no documentation anywhere to warn me of the pitfalls.

I still think I should be compensated because I have clearly been harmed by this issue. The several people I know that quit because of issues in this system did not endure even 30% of the loss that I just did. I just want to finish my costume... I'd be perfectly happy if they would just flip the mod I rerolled 110+ times to the mod I am trying to hit because it is clearly not possible to hit it through rng...

Hello, Am here because i think and many other people think that if you're on the quest line of the library ayanad earring you should be able to complete the quest line some people are doing this SOLO and been stuck on stage's for months and there at 75% of this quest line and now that will be all gone for a non permanent one?

TRION, Me & all the people that are on this quest line ASK YOU DO NOT RESET our quest line please we put 2years of work in this and not paying fully attention to this as well because all most no healers do this.

am on part 15. "A Potent Spell" i already have the "Ayanad Opal" aswel from part 19 killing over 3k mobs in library and now this was all for nothing? are you telling everyone? dont need those mats because i have ayanad epic leather set.

well if you reset this quest line i quit the game probably because its dying i will just sell my gear and my account and move to a other game.
time that you listen to the player base or you're game will die out how sadly this is because i loved the game.

but now it seems you're only braking it more and more i have been playing since start of 2015 and i payed more to this game than my computer itself and i have a beast of a computer its just sad to see all this time just wasted for nothing if you're reseting everything on most patches please stop this !

The mechanics for breaking down a costume to get the synthium back requires an item that works like an evenstone but is a separate item (why? who knows... it's very confusing). Since everything else is typically broken down by an evenstone, it is easy for a player to think they will get their synthium back but instead they get useless garbage.

There is already a mechanic in the game to delete items and evenstoning a costume is effectively just another way to delete the item because the reward is completely worthless.

You can eliminate the potential for a player to completely screw themselves by making costumes not a valid target for an evenstone. If a player intends to delete a costume they can always just delete it.

I got screwed by this mechanic today and lost a divine costume. I almost chose to break down the max eternal one first and if I had I'm not sure I'd still be interested in playing this game. I can't imagine it's hard to disallow evenstoning a costume and preventing rage quits. Granted, I am breaking down a max eternal costume because of the other major flaw in the costume system that completely shreds the system. Easy things to fix. I don't understand why they were done wrong in the first place.

I think after all these years, "investing" in this game WE - leagcy server players - should have an answear.

Why Publicity in Legacy Servers for the new Server? It should be done in website like MMORPG.com, in STEAM, and every chanel you can get or remember. But Legacy Servers?!

An answear would be apreciated.

I'm looking forward to the fresh start server, but i'm not looking forward to the 50 crime point penalty for killing a so called "team" mate... So with that being said, i would like as much pvp as i can possibly get, and i figure from the times i've played archeage in the past, west has been more populated than east, which would give me more hypothetical targets if i played east.

Is this somewhat of an accurate assumption?

There's not really any reason to kill normal ghost ships. If you added a costume to the drop table it would probably fix the problem.

Who we are?
Warband is an open world PvP/Gank/Piracy clan, with a strong tradition of fighting for the underdog factions and harrasing the dominant clans, and free speech voice and text chats to make you feel going all the way back to 2008.

What being in a Warband is about?
Beating the odds, walking all the way trough the game from an obscure group to a prominent force. Carving our own path, despite the circumstances and against all authorities. At the journey's end, you will glare behind, and see memories of epic deeds and your comrades. This stories will live with you for the rest of your life.

Summer 2017.
Server EU Knight 2(PvP).
Against the domination of a Human race zerg clan Grimbarians, 2 small clans(more like parties at this time) of Elves and Dwarves formed an alliance - Znich and Night Thieves Guild. As Night Thieves GM, I was a head and inspirator of this resistance. From lone victims, in mere weeks we build solid bases and started raiding the Grimbarians back. Later most Dwarves left game or rerolled to Evles, so the guild was reformed as an elven-only, nicknamed Warband. We fight with our opponents inconclusivly until both sides get bored, and the game updates kinda killed the most fun features of game at that time, so most players abandoned the game and now it is almost empty, sadly(


2. Lineage 2 GF x3
Autumn 2017.
Server Lineage 2 International Gracia Final x3.
Dark and Light wasn't a solid MMO, and it was killed by its own devs, so we needed a bigger challenge. The new international L2 server offered great opportunity.
My old rival Avantasia was going here as a vice-leader of BloodAngels clan, whos members happen to have a grudge against several others members of our clan, so our targets for this server have been decided:
1)Humiliate and eliminate Blood Angels from server within the first month
2)Take a Clan Hall and a Fort on 1st week
3)Take a Castle on 1st or 2nd sieges
All of the above we acheived. That ride was at times rough, but we did it - again, coming all the way from a random mob to a really organised and mighty force of almost 200 men(10 parties+solo players):

How many are you?
At peak there were more than 200 people in our community. During winter break however, most people vanished into real life, but we are always open to new friends.

Okay, but how many people do you plan to start with?
I don't want to zerg in with a horde of casual random players like we did in L2. This time we will assemble around 5-10 skilled and loaded peoples for jumpstart, the rest will follow.

Which faction (East,West) will you start with?
It depends on many factors. We'll decide after PTS testing of 4.5 in early April.

What makes you better than other clans?
True international clan, no "inner circle" of IRL cronies, freedom of speech and action, clear goals for each server stage and open-mindness towards trying the new.

What are these goals you speak about?
Phase 1(craft):
1)Explore the world and the seas
2)Drink a lot of rum and kill a lot of peoples
3)Get decently dressed and cap lvl
Phase 2(claim):
1)Either establish our own faction or join Pirates (depending on clan development speed vs competition on server)
2)Compete for epic bosses
Phase 3(conquer):
1)We'll see when we get there

Do your clan have any rules/traditions?
1)Attend clan events and follow orders while doing so
2)Always help clanmates pvp if you are nearby or not busy and can TP to help.
3)Do not party with wartags.
4)Loot is distributed class-random (yes, even epics)

What kind of leadership you have?
We have kinda a tribal democracy during peace times, but on clan events and mass pvp you follow orders and report in turn. At start I will hold charge of all such events, but later it may be YOU in charge of our war effort. Show leader's qualities and be promoted, as simple as that.

Are you hard organised? Have any mandatory activties/taxes?
No tax, the mandatory activities start with stage2 its Sieges and Epic bosses. They are not very often 1-2 times a week, the rest of the time is yours.

What voice you use? Discord or TS?

1)Hard players for my party. I am looking for 3-4 hardcore people for my party, the main requirements = ~24/7 online from 5th April (thursday) to evening of 8th April (sunday). After that - more relaxed play. 100 EUR starter pack is preferrable for a good jumpstart. Minimum req = patron and some creds for inventory expansion.

2)Old Warband players and aquitances/wartags from previous projects. Always good to see the old peoples.

I know this post has been repeated again and again but with the ♥♥♥in problem I'm facing right now I need a confirm.I remember that a GM said that VPN softwares like WTFast or Pingzapper still allowed due to the ping problem of Asian player.

Last FS you were easily able to skip the queue if you ran VPN services like WTFast because multiple people were connecting from same server IP. All you needed to do was exit the queue message and keep reopening until you got the server selection screen while running WTFast or other VPN services. Will they disable the skip queue if you were disconnected feature so this won't be abused again?

So I was on Prophecy until just after the RNG cash shop boxes, but was around for the ♥♥♥♥ show between guilds allying up which was really boring as it was just mega blob fights on raids.

But anyway I'm 25 gonna be joining back up potentially going back up as a SK I'm going to trial it a bit on the test server, only thing any guild would need to be aware of is that I work sat/sun/monday 12 hour shifts so for those days I will be unavailable. If you are fine with that hit me up, I am active every other day.

Hey guys,

I know this basic information...

Farm Cart (2 packs) --> Farm Wagon (4 packs) --> Farm Hauler (6 packs) --> Farm Freighter (8 packs)

Can someone please summarize the following info for each type of cart?

- Regular speed
- Eco Fuel Speed
- Eco Fuel Duration
- Extra seat for alt? (Y/N)

I'm mainly interested in these details for the "Red", "Rudolf", and "Yuletide" versions. I know some include more speed, longer eco-fuel duration (8 minutes to 10 minutes), an extra seat for an alt. I've found bits and pieces of information across the interwebs but would like all of it consolidated in one place if possible.

And just to note, I don't particularly care about having my vehicle look "flashy". My first impression is that the Yuletide and Rudolf versions are cosmetic upgrades only. If I am wrong and there is actually more speed or something, then that's something to consider.

hey guys.. i been away from arceage for quite some time.. but i consider to return for fresh start
i have few questions.. is fresh start going to be just the same as legacy? same P2w?
i know it will have apex .. but will pathron and multi accounts and all the rough p2w system
remain and stay in the fresh start? if so it would be a sad thing thanks for help
